1. The Artist grants the Publisher the right to photograph, scan, or copy the original work/s of art listed below, and the right to print, publish, and offer up for sale, copies, including partial images, of all or part of the following work/s of art (The Work). The Artist is the creator and owner of the Work and the Work is not a copy of any other copyrighted work. The Artist has not previously sold or disposed of the rights herein granted to the Publisher. *

In plan English: You're letting us know that this artwork is really yours, and you're letting us print it and offer it in a form we think will sell. That might sometimes include slight alterations, such as cropping, tiling, or minor color differences.

2. Upon the sale of any of the Work, the Publisher shall owe a consignment payment to the Artist. The Publisher agrees to pay the Artist 20% of the price for which the Publisher sells any copy of the Work. Payment shall be paid to the Artist quarterly on or before the 15th of each month in which a payment is due and shall be accompanied by an appropriate Statement of Account. If the payment due is less than $10 (ten dollars), the Publisher may opt to carry the funds into the next quarter, allowing them to accrue. *

3. The term of this Agreement shall be indefinite and without inherent expiration. However, either the Artist or the Publisher may terminate this agreement at any time by providing 30 days written notice to the other Party or by submitting a cancellation notice if one is provided by the Publisher.

We're delighted to serve artists by printing and selling their artwork, but if it doesn't work out, simply let us know.

4. If, for any reason, the Artist becomes unreachable for a period exceeding one year, the Publisher may thereafter continue to sell the Work indefinitely without consignment payments. In such case, the Publisher will make every reasonable effort to locate the Artist, and will hold the Artist's payments for the full year. *

We like this agreement, but if we can't find you, it gets complicated. This keeps it simple.

5. This Agreement is subject to the laws of the State of California. *

6. Except for any breach of this Agreement, neither party hereto shall be liable for any claims for personal injury or property damage suffered by the other party hereto or any third party resulting from any activity of either of the parties under or relating to this Agreement. *

As artists ourselves, we understand the importance of protecting your artwork from damage. Should we handle any of your originals, we will treat them with care. We will also respect your creative imagery as we print it and offer it for sale.

7. The Publisher, Creative Interfaces, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. After the payment of any consignment due as described herein, the remaining sales revenue shall be used exclusively for non-profit purposes. *
