1. The Host may exhibit for sale, artwork submitted by the Artist, in a venue operated by the Host. *

2. The Artist will submit a list that includes each work of art to be sold. The list will be submitted to the Host prior to the event. The list will include the title and dimensions (if applicable) and the medium and retail value of each piece. *

3. The Host reserves the right to review all submitted artwork and to determine whether or not the work is appropriate to the theme, the venue, and other considerations pertinent to the specific event. *

4. The Host will notify the Artist regarding the specific dates and times when the art should be delivered to the Host venue and when to pick up unsold pieces after the event. The Artist shall deliver and pick up their work at those times unless other arrangements have been made with the Host. *

5. Artwork will be delivered complete and ready to show. Art intended to be hung should have hanging wire in place and art intended to be framed should be framed. *

6. Unless other arrangements are made, the Artist agrees to be available to help with set up and clean up as needed. The Artist also agrees to be actively present during the event as much as he or she is able. *

8. Upon the sale of any of the Artist's works, the Host may retain 25% of the amount for which the work sold, and shall owe the Artist the remaining 75%. The Host will collect and report appropriate sales tax. The Host agrees to pay the Artist the amount due in a timely manner. *

9. The Host, Creative Interfaces, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. The Host's share of funds received from the sale of the Artist's work shall be used exclusively for non-profit purposes. *

10. This Agreement is subject to the laws of the State of California. *

11. Ongoing contract option *

If this is the only event in which you'll be participating, choose the first option below. If you think you might participate in future shows or sales with the Host, you may choose the second option.

This contract is valid only for this one time event and expires when the event is finished, the Artist has collected his/her unsold artwork, and the Host pays the Artist any amount due.

This contract is of indefinite duration, and is valid for all similar events in which the Host invites the Artist to participate in the future. Either party may cancel the contract at any time by providing written notice and fulfilling all outstanding obligations described herein.
